Privacy & Submission Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Anon Voice Notes is a private artistic project where adults may submit anonymous voice recordings. This policy explains what is collected and how submissions are handled.
What we collect
When you submit a note, we collect the audio recording, its length, submission date, and limited technical information needed to receive and protect the submission. We do not ask for your name or email address.
A voice, background sound, story, or detail may still reveal someone’s identity. Do not include names, addresses, workplaces, contact information, or other identifying details.
How recordings are used
Recordings are reviewed privately by the project owner and may be marked approved, rejected, or deleted. Approved recordings remain private and are not published on the website. Submitting a recording does not guarantee it will be retained.
Your agreement
By submitting, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, the recording is your own submission, and you permit Anon Voice Notes to privately store, review, and moderate it for this artistic project.
What not to submit
Do not submit private information about another person; threats; harassment; hate speech; discriminatory or sexually explicit content; deliberately false allegations; copyrighted audio you do not control; or recordings of someone made without their permission.
Storage and security
Audio is stored in private cloud storage and recording details are stored in a private database. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Recordings may be retained while the artistic project is active. The project owner may delete rejected, unsafe, duplicate, or unnecessary submissions at any time. Because submissions are intentionally anonymous, we may be unable to verify that a deletion request came from the original submitter.
Urgent situations
Anon Voice Notes is not a crisis line, counselling service, emergency service, or confidential reporting channel. Submissions are not monitored continuously. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Legal disclosure
Information may be preserved or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, protect someone’s safety, investigate misuse, or defend legal rights.
